  1. Does the drone operator who will be assigned to my project have his/her FAA Remote Pilot’s license, and is it still active? Yes, all Nearview pilots maintain FAA remote pilot certifications.
  2. Liability Insurance: Does Nearview carry at least $1mm+ in liability insurance coverage that specifically covers piloting a drone for real estate photography? Yes, a Certificate Of Insurance (COI) will be provided to you by email for each flight operation.
  3. Client References: Can you provide me with references for your work? References can be provided to you upon request.
  4. Interior Video: Can you also shoot interior photographs and video? We currently do not offer interior aerial flights. Please see our Partners or contact us if you are interested in exterior as well as interior photographs and video packages.
  5. What information do you need from me prior to a shoot? We initially request that you provide address (location), a description of the property, and identification of any known or potential safety hazards. We will then determine if there are any flight restrictions or potential hazards to consider before establishing a service contract with you.
  6. Lead Time & Weather Conditions: How much lead time do you need to prepare and show up onsite? What weather & wind conditions would prevent you from shooting? Nearview prides itself on rapid response. Minimum lead time of two weeks is preferred, but provided favorable weather conditions (no rain, snow, freezing conditions, or winds more than force 4 (< 15 knots)), a single shoot can be completed and products delivered within 5 business days.
  7. Deposit, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Are there any fees or cancellation penalties if you change your mind? How much lead time do you require? 100% payment is due upon project completion and approval of deliverables. Payment is due prior to electronic delivery of approved image products to you. There are no fees or penalties if you cancel or change your mind. For properties located more than 25 miles from Portsmouth, NH, or for exceptionally large or complex properties, where a deposit is required, there is no fee or cancellation penalty if service is cancelled prior to travel and flight operations. If travel and flight operations have occurred, fees for cancellation in these instances will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  8. Service Contract: Do I need to sign a service contract ahead of time? Yes, a service contract must be completed and will be provided in advance of any operations.
